Abaloparatide (Tymlos) is a synthetic analog of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) FDA-approved for osteoporosis treatment in postmenopausal women at high fracture risk.

Mechanism of Action

  • PTH1R agonism — Selectively activates parathyroid hormone receptor 1
  • Bone formation — Stimulates osteoblast activity and new bone formation
