Overview

Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the natural epithalamin produced by the pineal gland, studied for telomerase activation and potential anti-aging properties.

Mechanism of Action

  • Telomerase activation — Stimulates telomerase activity in human cells
  • Melatonin regulation — Normalizes melatonin secretion from the pineal gland
  • Cellular senescence — May delay cellular aging processes
  • Antioxidant effects — Reduces oxidative stress markers
