Overview

KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of alpha-MSH, retaining anti-inflammatory properties without pigmentation effects.

Mechanism of Action

  • NF-κB inhibition — Blocks inflammatory signaling pathways
  • Gut healing — Reduces intestinal inflammation and promotes mucosal repair
  • No pigmentation — Unlike full alpha-MSH, does not stimulate melanocytes
  • Wound healing — Accelerates tissue repair

Dosing

200-500mcg subcutaneously or orally, 1-2 times daily. Topical for skin inflammation.
